Culture Crawl is full of art adventures the whole family can enjoy from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 10.
Experience the arts at these Hamilton locations and pick up a punch card for a chance to win the gift basket.
Chapter One Book Store, 252 Main Street, will be partnering with Open Ended expressive arts studio. Stop by Chapter One Book Store between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and create a decoupaged wood block using vintage book pages.
"Open Sketch Crawl," hosted by the Explore the Arts Monday Painters open studio, is where artists support fellow artists and provide opportunities. Artists are invited to join the Sketch Crawl group at 10 a.m. City Hall on Second and Bedford Streets. Surrounded by Farmers Market vendors there will be plenty of inspiration to draw from. Artists will then return to Explore the Arts to show their work at 1 p.m. and show their sketches.
"Pause for Poetry", hosted by Explore the Arts Main Street Gallery, 701 Main Street, starts the Culture Crawl from aa a.m. to noon by featuring local poets and poetry lovers sharing their work or poems. Be inspired by summer vacation time. You are welcome to read your poem or one that you treasure or inspires. Pause for Poetry is where the written word is shared and becomes the spoken word.
