Former Ryan quarterback Seth Henigan has quickly made a name for himself in college football since landing at Memphis.
Henigan started as a freshman and was named the MVP of the First Responder Bowl after guiding the Tigers to a win over Utah State as a sophomore last season.
The honors continued to roll in for Henigan this week when he was named a camp counselor for the Manning Passing Academy.
The camp that is run by the Manning family will run from June 22-25 at Nicholls State in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
Some of the top quarterbacks in college football are invited each summer to work as counselors. Henigan is among the players who will be on hand this year.
Texas standout Quinn Ewers and UTSA senior Frank Harris are among the other top college quarterbacks who were invited to work the camp.
Serving as a camp counselor at the event is considered an honor.
There might not be a family that has produced more standout quarterbacks than the Mannings.
Archie Manning was an All-America quarterback at Ole Miss, a Pro Bowler with the New Orleans Saints and is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame.
Archie Manning's sons Peyton and Eli were both the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft and won two Super Bowls during their standout careers. Peyton was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2021.
Henigan's profile has continued to rise since his time at Ryan, where he threw for 7,234 yards and 79 touchdowns while playing for his father, Dave.
Henigan was a Freshman All-American in 2021 and threw for 3,559 yards and 22 touchdowns last season, when he ranked 16th nationally in passing yards.
That performance boosted Henigan's profile, one that earned him a chance to serve as a counselor at the Manning Academy this summer.
